About the Founder
Philip James Piluris is the founder and principal planner of Bucephalus Consulting. With over a decade of experience across environmental consulting, cultural heritage conservation, urban and rural planning, and agricultural land management, he brings a uniquely cross-disciplinary approach to every project.
Philip’s work is rooted in the belief that planning should be accessible, transparent, and in service of the communities it affects. His background includes field ecology, Indigenous heritage research, environmental impact assessment, and policy development — all of which inform his commitment to ethical, people-first planning. He founded Bucephalus Consulting to help bridge the gap between technical expertise and real community needs.
